Tzatziki (Greek yogurt sauce)Litsa!

This amazing Greek yogurt sauce Tzatziki. Is so perfect for Gyro, Souvlaki, and grilled meat and poultry.

Tzatziki is perfect as a dip for fresh vegetables, a delicious spread for sandwiches, make it more liquidy by adding a little milk and use it as a salad dressing for your potato salad, and much more…

tzatziki

  • Ingredients
  • 500 gr. (2 cups) strained Greek yogurt
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 small cucumber
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh dill finely chopped

Salt and white pepper to taste

Peel and remove seeds from the cucumber. Grate the cucumber and strain it very well, making sure there is no liquid left on the cucumber. (I place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze it very well until all juice is gone.)

In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix well, your tzatziki is ready.

Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

Serve your tzatziki cold, never hot.
