I love recipes that I can just put in the oven and forget about them, and when the food is done, I have deliciousness! This Beef pot roast recipe is exactly that!
A hearty recipe, that the man love and it is so easy to make them happy with this dish!
And we want to make them happy because it comes back to us many times over…I hear my grandmother, “feed them well and if you ask for the universe they will give it to you!”Yes grandma it works”
It has the past and certainly has a future!
It has been one of my favorites and a family recipe for as long as I can remember, you know the little treasures I usually talk about, one of those!
Meat lovers will always enjoy a good solid recipe, and here is my take on the delicious Beef Pot Roast!
You will need:
A nice piece of Beef for Pot Roast
4 potatoes cut in 4
2 onions cut in 4
3 carrots
3 celery stalks
4 cloves of garlic
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup beef broth + a little more if you need it
Salt, pepper, garlic salt and a touch of sugar
Here is how to make my famous Beef pot roast!
Preheat oven at 400
Place the meat in an oven proof pan that has a cover
Season the meat well with, salt, pepper, garlic salt and a little sugar
Put the covered casserole with the meat in the oven for 30 min at 400.
In the meantime prepare your vegetables
Season them well and place them all around the meat
Add the oil, apple cider vinegar, and 1 cup broth
Lower the heat to 350 and cook covered until the meat is cooked to your liking!
It will need about 2 hours from beginning to end, and it always depends on the meat, you will need to check and see if you need to add some more broth!
